Although it was sad to hear of Garry's illness the positive was that we got to meet and know them so well.

Happily, G&F did make it to UK in 2007 as part of a long awaited European tour.  They stayed with us on and off for two weeks in our town house in Fordingbridge (we were between houses and living in a small house we owned nearby).  Here are some pictures:
